Ralston is a city in Douglas County, Nebraska. Ralston was founded in about 1907. The Ralston Post Office was established in 1909. The Ralston Library opened in 1922 and moved to its current location in 1999 (Baright Public Library). The Population was 5,943 at the 2010 census. Ralston is surrounded on the East, West and North sides by Omaha, Nebraska and on the south side by La Vista, Nebraska.
Ralston Arena opened October 19, 2012. It serves as the home of the Omaha Lancer’s hockey team, the Omaha Beef indoor football team, the professional Omaha Chargers basketball team, the Omaha Heart women’s indoor football team and the Omaha Roller Girls.
