Wayne’s New Skoo BBQ
Opened: July
Wayne’s Mobile Kitchen has been an Omaha food truck favorite for years. In 2018, they decided to open up a brick and mortar and serve up the same delicious food Omahans have been raving about for what seems like forever. While the restaurant is small, with only four tables inside and two outside, their food has huge flavor and will even sell out on a busy day. So make sure to get there early and try their incredible ribs, Carolina pulled pork or tacos on taco Tuesdays!
JINYA Ramen Bar
Opened: August
This incredible chain restaurant has finally come to Omaha and we couldn’t be more excited! Make your experience even better with delicious tapas or a craft beer.
Culprit Cafe

This relaxed cafe just opened up a new location in the heart of Midtown. Stop by and pick up one of their classic breakfast sandwiches, a handcrafted latte, or one of their unique lunch options, such as the “Culprit Cristo,” a house take on a traditional Monte Cristo sandwich. No matter whether you’re a beer nerd or just a casual consumer, you’ll be able to find a beverage to suit any occasion. They also offer a great wine selection as well as light bites, bratwursts and sandwiches.

This Omaha favorite just relocated to a much bigger space in Midtown Crossing! They still offer the same great vegan food like their Modern “Cheeseburger,” Mac & Shews and, of course, their amazing dairy-free milkshakes.
Oasis Falafel

Hummus is where the heart is — at least that’s what the minds behind Oasis Falafel believe, one of Omaha’s hottest new restaurants right now. Here you’ll find falafel, kebabs and even Mediterranean-inspired salads. Don’t forget to try their amazing baklava and Turkish coffee for dessert!
